Iriza 120mm Fall/Winter 2016 Review

Hello Rugged Glam-ers!  I came across this new Fall/Winter color for the 2016 Louboutin Collection and simply fell in love. The Iriza pumps are a beautiful half d’Orsay pump that come in various sizes and colors. Like any Rugged Glam-er, I went for the highest spike available – that is the 120mm (5 inch) heel.  These beautiful heels retail for $745 before tax.

Louboutin’s website says: Monsieur Louboutin’s classic half d’Orsay pump “Iriza” is a stunning look for women who aren’t afraid to be a little bit exposed.

cont’d: The cutout vamp creates a sexy and utterly feminine shape. This 120mm version in stellar patent leather is a dreamy Fall/Winter accent pump.

The red-iridescent contrast is unique and beautiful.

Sizing: You should go with your Italian true to size for the best fit – noting that this heel is also a patent leather heel so expect it to be snug when first wearing it. It will break in after a few wears.

For any Rugged Glam-ers purchasing your first pair of Loubis, I recommend purchasing these in a size up from your U.S. true to size – in other words – if you are a size 9 in Nine West heels, then order a size 40 Italian with these Louboutins, and so on.

My experience: I tried to find my size in these heels on the website but they were already sold out of most sizes. I wanted them so badly that I just went up a half size. To prevent slipping, you can add a cotton ball (or two) in the front and a rubber insert. I’ll post a video on my YouTube Channel on Louboutin sizing and fit hacks 🙂 I think as long as they are in range, you can make any Louboutin fit!

You can purchase these Iriza Pumps in 120mm by clicking HERE.

I have also posted a video review of the Iriza VS the So Kate VS the Pigalle Follies. I hope it will help you decide on your purchase. Also, it will mean so much if you could please like/share/subscribe to my channel to help me grow. Thank you for being so supportive xoxo!

Anyway, I hope you are all having a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by to visit my blog. Please help me grow by liking/sharing, etc.  Also, if you haven’t already entered into the Louboutin Giveaway, please go ahead and do that – the deadline at the end of this month is quickly approaching! Good luck and happy shopping Rugged Glam-ers!

Much Love,

    1. Hi Nicole! i’d recommend you get the same as your so kate size (40) but that said – I think either option would be fine if all you can find is a half size larger. The exact same thing happened to me. The 40 would be my first choice since it’s the same heel as the so kate (only difference is it’s a d’orsay cut and is “roomier” than a So Kate on the side – width wise) – you can make a 1/2 size larger work. They’re exactly the same which is why i think you can’t go wrong with either if a 40.5 so kate fits you well too. I had an issue ordering a half size larger in mine and my feet were slipping (i wore nylons with them for work when that happened) – but I have since stopped wearing nylons with them and used a heel insert to prevent heel slippage and those work great. You’ll love these heels! Happy shopping, ~RGxx
