Hi Rugged Glam-ers!
I have been promising you a blog post on my Tom Ford Luxury Shopping Haul and here it is! While in Italy for my seven-continent honeymoon, I visited an outlet in Florence, aka “Firenze”, called The Mall (click HERE to see website/get directions). It has a plethora of designer brands at outlet prices including Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Chopard, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Versace, Lanvin, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Gucci, (La Perla for you Rugged Glam-ers who care to look glamorous underneath your clothes as you do on top), and many more… Check out the list on their website for the complete list. It reminded me a lot of Premium Outlets in the US….. except for ONE THING….. the prices!!!! OHHH MY GODDDD @THE PRICES!!!!!!
I consider myself a shopping PRO and have gotten some amazing deals on designer, luxury goods… but never anything like what I’m about to share with you from my Italy Trip. I got EVERY item on sale at 90% Off of Retail Price! I didn’t think that was possible, but it is! This 6th continent trip and my luxury shopping haul proves it! Ok… let’s break down the pricing. Are you ready? Here it is!
Black Top: Retail €890… Outlet Price: €89!!!!! YES, 89 EUROS! Where in the world can you get prices like that?!?!?!!!! I’ll tell you where: Italy. Lovely Italia is where you get it! Want to know more? Here is a break down, followed by some looks with an artistic twist I worked on for you to see some Looks from my 2016 Fall Look Book. I haven’t had a chance to photograph all the looks, but I didn’t want to delay this for you all so I’ll provide updates to the looks once I complete my Look Book. Now, Rugged Glam-ers, you KNOW I love to share luxury shopping secrets and experiences with you all. So if you didn’t think it could get any better than this… than, this is where I jump in and say, “Oh but WAIT! There’s MOOOOREEEE!!!!” … There IS more and I’m going to share it with you: If you spend over €150 in a store, than notify the store salesperson that you are a tourist and would like to “CLAIM YOUR TAX REFUND!” … They will take your passport, fill out a form, and you will get cash back – LITERALLY… they will offer you cash back at the airport tax locations. I got 12% tax back at the Christian Louboutin Boutique, for example.
In conclusion: Italy is an amazing place for its history, it’s food and wine… and its luxury goods. It is also an amazing place to get amazing deals on luxury brands! In fact, you can even go to the “Factories” of high-end designers like Prada, Miu Miu, etc. and get some pretty major discounts there too!

One thing is for sure, it is an amazing experience and feeling to get such remarkable prices on designer pieces. I ended up paying the cost of one jacket for 30 garments! I have so much more to share about my experience but since this post has gotten very long, I’ll stop here and create other posts in sequels to this on the luxury hauls I was on.

Hi May! Good question…. I personally haven’t found anything like the one in Italy (90% off was a first for me) – anywhere! Not even London. HOWEVER – there is one of the best premium designer outlets there – (Alexander McQueen, Prada, etc) is at the Bicester Village Outlet. I’m not from London, so it might be far from you (sorry I don’t the distances) but here is a link to their website Brands Page – http://www.bicestervillage.com/en/shopping/brands/ …. Also, the Burberry Outlet if you like the brand I hear is around 50% off.
