Ok fashionistas and fashionistos…. STOP EVERYTHING and RUN! ….DON’T WALK!….. RUNNNNN TO YOUR SALES REPS! I got a notification yesterday of the latest Chanel 19 color to hit the “IT BAG” lineup, and it is BURGUNDY! Wait, it gets better….. Burgundy in a SHINY CRUMPLED CALFSKIN LEATHER, aka crackled patent.
The rich burgundy color is perfect for FALL WINTER and I already have a thousand outfit ideas to wear with this bag! It is so STRIKING with its deep hues and golden hardware. Moreover, the mix of the ruthenium simply melts beautifully into the deep undertones of this bag, making it a harmonious mix of metals!
Simply put, this Chanel 19 Burgundy flap bag from the 20K Act II Collection draws eyes to it and will be the centerpiece of any cold weather outfit.
I plan to purchase the smaller size which will fit my cold weather essentials with ease, as the interior pocket is quite spacious.

Close up, you can see the crackling is actually quite discreet, but I do like that it is a crackled patent on the new Chanel 19 bag, as it will be less delicate than many other Chanel patent leathers (imo).
So my final thoughts? She is GORGEOUS! I am all over this color for sure this winter season – and ALL winter seasons. I do see this bag becoming one of my signature F/W pieces for many years to come!
One more thing to add is the Chanel price increases…. the price for the Chanel 19 increased by $200 …. alas, I will need to pay that much more this season than I had for my black maxi and large ivory.
Now as I said….. if you’re into this bag, RUN, don’t walk, or strut, or stroll, or sit on the fence because there is no doubt this baby is going to sell out ASAP!
