Louboutin Very Gemma 120mm Sizing Review

I stopped by a Christian Louboutin Boutique during a business trip and came across the Very Gemma 120mm in Nude! They feature a sexy red ultra fine accent line running up the heel, and finish off with a red bow (it reminds me of those sexy stockings with the line running down the back)! They are VERY cute.

I haven’t purchased these heels yet, but I am considering it.  In case any of my Rugged Glam-ers are contemplating purchasing them, here are a few things to keep in mind before purchasing:

Sizing: The leather is VERY soft and will conform to your foot. I recommend if you take a 1/2 size down from your So Kate patent Italian size, that would be the best fit. If you aren’t sure what your Italian sizing is, please read my post on my summer Loubis – I explain in detail how to pick your size there. Therefore, the Very Gemma is a 1/2 size smaller than your Christian Louboutin True to Size (Italian). If you only know your U.S. size, it is a 1/2 size larger than a similar pair of Aldo heels.

Color: The nude color has a strong beige undertone to it. It is not a typical nude. It is more of an opaque beige. I checked the website and the image looks true to color. (In the store, he kept saying it is Nude, but I found it to be beige).

Comparable: I have a pair of Feticha Pumps and the comfort on them was comparable to the Feticha pump heel. Because it curves in the back, it puts more pressure on the inner ball of your foot (to some first timers, that might feel a little odd, but it is nothing too challenging for an experienced Rugged Glam-er!).

(Notice the curved heel on the Feticha Pump. The Very Gemma has a similar feel when on)

Height: The heel height is 120mm (5 inches). It doesn’t “look” that high though because of the curvy back. I pulled these from the website to show you what I am referring to. That is actually what made me hesitate purchasing. I love the red detailing and the bow… i just wish it was a little more “stiletto-ish”.

They retail for $750. You can purchase them on the Christian Louboutin Website by clicking HERE.

Hope this helps anyone considering purchasing these! If you do purchase them, I’d love to know what you think. I am still considering buying them but wasn’t blown away, so I am sleeping on it!

Happy shopping Rugged Glam-ers!

Much Love,
