I love Dolce & Gabbana’s lace trainers. Rugged meets Glam in these cute casual shoes. They are perfect for a trip and running errands. I LOVE black with white contrasts. I have that in my office, my bedroom, and in my clothing. Even my cat Junior sports the black-white contrast ratio of 70-30! Haha but seriously, you can’t get better than a black-white contrast. It is very chic and makes any office, room or any person stand out tastefully.

Dolce & Gabbana’s sleek black leather design and the lace paneling give this sexy trainer the right amount of contrast and detailing. The white stripe along the bottom and black stitching are very nice details too.
Where to Wear: I plan to wear these on my trip to Italy during our Europe leg of our seven continent honeymoon. Paired with black leggings, they’ll be the perfect look for the airplane and traveling to Europe! They are also a trendy shoe for running errands, a sports game, university, and the list goes on! I personally wouldn’t wear them to the gym because I get lots of wear out of my Nikes for that. Remember that these are an 800 shoe and you most probably wouldn’t wear it to the gym! Stick to light activity with these beauties.
Cost: As mentioned, these trainers retail for $750 before tax; however you can get them on sale for $450 on Net-A-Porter by clicking HERE. They come in Black, Beige, Navy Blue and Red. I purchased them in the Black because of my love for Black-White contrasts.
Fit: I recommend you get these in 1/2 size smaller than your True To Size Italian D&G (or 1 size up from your TTS Aldo). D&G generally run small. The shoe will conform and mold to your foot too so 1/2 size smaller than the TTS is a good place to start. If you have a wider foot or ankles, you might be a little irritated from the built in sock. It is not very flexible, so that is my only complaint. All in all though, they’re still relatively comfortable and you will appreciate the esthetics of these trainers.
Hope this helps and ask me any size or style related questions you might have! I’d love to hear from you. Please help me grow by liking/sharing/signing up for my blog, etc!
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Shopping Rugged Glam-ers!
Much Love,
