My J’Aton Couture Wedding Gown – The Dress that Crossed 5 Continents in One Year!

I can’t wait to share photos and stories with you from my Antarctica Wedding. It was so magical! I had penguins, seals, seabirds, whales, perfect weather and a beautiful j’Aton Gown that I hauled across 5 continents! It started out in Australia, then to the Middle East, next to North America, followed by South America and made it to its final destination and our wedding venue: Antarctica! …. I’m also on a Seven Continent in one Year Honeymoon which you can follow on my blog….  I might even take it to Italy (Europe) and South Africa (Africa) with me to complete the dress landing on all seven continents!!!

J’Aton Couture is a high-end designer label that is not widely known in the U.S. yet, but I think that will change with time because of the beautiful, unique designs that will suit the tastes of many glamorous brides! Two Australian designers,Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorino, created the high-end fashion label and their work is so harmonious.

When I came across the designers, I was in awe and stunned by the design. The dress I saw was on an Australian model/socialite, Rebecca Twigley Judd, on her wedding day. It was a beautiful scalloped dress that was VERY sexy.

This photo was taken from their website www.jaton.com and Instagram (note the scalloped design):

The dress shown above is known as the Rebecca Dress – because it was made for Rebecca Judd’s wedding. Here is the dress that caught my eye:

Personally, I love a classic look, so I wanted long layers of tulle rather than a layered ballgown effect. So I opted for a similar top but preferred the multi-toned ivory, nude and champagne tulle with diamontes, pearls on ivory silk and a drop waist. I’ll upload some more pics from my wedding too, so stay tuned! It was perfect!

The boots that I wore were a pair of tiffany blue colored Hunter Wellington Boots with polar inserts to keep my feet warm. They were nearly impossible to come across because they’re a limited edition boot and was sold out on the website. Fortunately, I managed to find a pair!
